Sometimes it confuses me about the perfect tenses in English Grammar. Can you tell me, in simple terms, how it works and when do we use it?
Eli from Bulgaria
One of the big questions that I am always asked about English grammar is the use of the Perfect Tense. It can be slightly complicated as there are other alternatives that we maybe thinking that we can use. This little guide and video can maybe help you understand and decide how and what to use.
can i use the phrase - I am living in UK since June? as it is happening now.
Kluay from Thailand
Ah yes, this is an incredibly, common question I am asked and I can understand why. Remember the Simple tense will tell us a fact or a routine while the continuous tense tells us the action is presently happening now.
