English Vocabulary Attempt

There is a really good word to use in English when you are trying to explain something that you are going to try to do!

We use the word attempt to explain to someone that you are going to try to do something.

For example, we can say "I am going to attempt to climb that mountain"

This means that I am going to try to climb that mountain, but I am unsure if I will be able to complete it.

or, we can say, "He doesn't speak English, I'll attempt to speak Spanish with him"

This means that I am going to try to speak Spanish but I am unsure if he will understand.
